This weekend Mr Q and I travelled south to visit my sister. We've been a little lazy since returning from our holiday in Yorkshire, so we decided to dust off our walking boots and go for walk in the countryside. To test our resolve, my sister chose to lead us up one of Bedfordshire's most prominent hills - the fantastically named Sharpenhoe Clappers.
It was a fantastic walk with beautiful views over surrounding downland, an Iron Age hill fort, the sound of the wind in the beech wood, abundant fruits in the hedgerows and an enormous packed lunch (a tribute to my Dad's legendary packed lunches).
