Back from the back of beyond

Mr Q and I are back from our holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. We had 7 idyllic days of castles, walking, cheese, crafts, waterfalls and gardens in Wensleydale and Swaledale. We stayed in a 17th century cottage with a truly amazing view across the valley. It was extraordinarily peaceful - no mobile phone coverage, no sound except sheep baaing, and so dark at night that you couldn't tell if your eyes were open or shut.
