Lazy daisy

This is a little update to show you what I've been tatting recently. The webpage with the pattern on is no longer in existence but my print-out shows that it is called "Arlene's First Place Win". I'm tatting it in Yarnplayer's Leafy hand dyed green thread and Flora size 20 yellow and white threads. I've one more round of green to go before the final round of daisies around the outside. It is already the largest single piece of tatting I have completed.

I think this is very striking with the white & yellow center! Good choice of colors.

Hi Charlotte,
Looking pretty now and I can imagine that it is going to look great with the last round of daisies. Good colour choices.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I've really enjoyed tatting this so far - I feel less overwhelmed than I'd anticipated. I'll post another photo when it's all done.

I keep checking back to see what new progress there may be on your lovely daisy doily. The Leafy HDT rows are quite striking juxtaposed against the daisy center. Can't wait to see it with the daisy outer row. Great job and keep up the great work!

Very pretty. I particularly like the white centre surrounded by all that lush green. Well done! Fox : )

No updates to share on this daisy doily at the moment - I've been distracted by another piece of tatting and a brightly coloured quilt!
