We're experiencing something of a heatwave here in the UK. The sun has been shining, the mercury has risen, and Wimbledon has been almost unaffected by rain. In the midst of all this, I have been thinking of ice cream, ice crystals and snowflakes and I finally have another piece of tatting to show you. This is snowflake number 4 from Lene Bjorn's 24 Snowflakes in Tatting, made from Flora thread. I like nearly all the patterns in this book, and plan to complete as many as possible. This snowflake is also the 17th motif in my 25 motif challenge.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

That is so pretty! I think a snowflake is a perfect thing to tat in anticipaion of a heatwave! Hope it passes quickly! :)
